THE JAMES BOND TRICK
If you short-circuit the left, middle and right pins on the bottom of the phone with all connections touching each other,
the Nokia software hangs! The profile Headset will be activated. Before you do this, just activate the Automatic Answer in
the headset profile and set the ringing volume to Mute. Now you can use your phone for checking out what people are talking
about in a room. Just place it under a table in a room and call it. The phone receives the call without ringing and you can
listen to what people are saying.
REVEALING HEADPHONE AND CAR-KIT MENUS
NOTE: If you do these tricks the new menus can not be erased after the procedure. Not dangerous or harmful for your phone
but it got to be said.
To enable the headset-function, you have to short-circuit the 3 and 4. After a short time there is Headset on the display.
Now, menu 3-6 is now enabled! To enable the carkit-function you have to short-circuit the 4 and 5. After a short time, Car
is shown on the display and the menu 3-7 is enabled!!
THE REBOOT TRICK
Should work on all software versions. Let us know if your phone can take it.
1.) Go to calendar (menu 8)
2.) Make note/reminder.
3.) Enter some text into the edit box.
4.) Hold clear until whole text is cleared, then press back.
5.) Press 0. Main screen is shown but a space appears on the screen. You cant see it of course.
6.) Enter 4 digits (1234 for example)
7.) Use the down arrow to move the cursor to the left side of the numbers and the space (2 times down arrow)
8.) Now enter 6 digits and press the green Call button.
9.) Wait some seconds. The phone will now flash the background light and finally reboot.
UNLOCK SERVICE PROVIDER
Insert sim, turn phone on and press vol up (arrow keys) for 3 seconds, should say pin code. Press C, then press * message
should flash, press * again and 04*pin*pin*pin# (It was tested and worked on Nokia 3310-30.)
CHANGE IMEI NUMBER
If you type *#06#9210*6*6# on your Nokia 9210, you can change the IMEI number to switch it to all networks. If you change
your serial number more than 30 times, phone could get corrupted.
KEYPAD LOCK
If the keys are locked on a 3330 the light wont turn on by pressing any of the buttons on the front but it will if you
press the power button on top.
BANTUMI
At the games menu, you can let the phone think for your moves by pressing, either * or #. Then press 5 to start the game.
Press it everytime before your every move.
SENDING RINGTONES
If you want to send a ringtone from your Nokia then follow these few simple steps.
1.) Go to composer on your tones menu.
2.) Click on the tone that you wish to send then click options.
3.) Then click save.
4.) Then go to the beginning of the tone name and add a $ sign.
5.) Click save and then scroll down and it will say send!
NOTE: If the tone was sent to your phone then change the name of the tone or re-type it.
SPEED TRAP
Your Nokia cell phone can be programmed to pick up radar speed traps, when programmed your cell phone picks up the radar
and alerts you on the message alert tone. (Doesnt work with Nokia 7110 and only works in certain countries)
1.) Enter your menu
2.) Select settings
3.) Select security settings
4.) Select closed user group
5.) Select on
6.) Enter 00000
7.) Press ok
8.) Clear back to normal, within a few seconds your phone will display a radar sign with five zeros next to it. It is
now activated.
SPACE IMPACT TRICK
When playing on Space Impact game and it starts a count down press 3 and it will continue the game also it gives u extra
points.
SHORTCUTS:
If u press and hold 0 when in standby will dial up 2 your homepage.
When youre on a wap site instead of double clicking options select to select a link just press either key 1 or 3 once
to activate link. (3330)
3330 ANIMATED SCREEN SAVERS
You can save more by storing in your profiles. Assign a scr. Saver your 5 of 6 profiles. Keep 1 profile free to change.
When you want to replace a scr. Saver in memory, the old one stays in the profiles. This way you can save 6 in memory and
5 scr. Savers in profiles.
Remember, when you send an animated screensaver, its sent as a picture message and it doesnt move. You can only download
from wap.
WITHELD SMS
To withhold your number when sending a text is to write your message as if you are putting a name in the phonebook but
save it without a number then send it as a Business card. Another way: You need a phone with reminders on. Write what you
want and send it but remember that the person youve sent reminders has to have reminders feature in his/her phone. Otherwise
your number will show up. Most of new Nokia and Ericsson phones has reminders.
PENDING MESSAGE & DELIVERY REPORTS
Pending means that message was not delivered, when message is delivered you receive a report saying delivered. Pending
report comes if receivers msg center number and yours is different from each other, mostly happens between different networks.
Also the msg is pending if receivers phone is off, out of network coverage or msg box is full. Type *0 in front of each text
to get the reports. To get delivery reports without typing *0 go to message settings-common and set delivery reports to on.
FLASHING SMS
To send a flashing sms, change your msg setting under common, then change from automatic to unicode. Put backslash \F
in front and after the text you want to flash.
T9 SYMBOLS
When in T9 and press key 1 for full-stop, you can change symbol with * key, without going to menu (Just like changing
word from dictionary). Its much faster.
PREDICTIVE TEXT
To open T9 dictionary, when writing a txt msg press the # key or go to messages options and switch the dictionary on.
WAP PROBLEMS
If anyone has problems making the spinning globe get a move on, its good practice to clear the cache often. You can also
go to navi options and click reload. This refreshes the page and speed.
BLOCK SMS RECEIVING
If you need to block SMS reception (if you are spammed by someone) just press this code: *35*xxxx*16#
Xxxx is your Call Barring code (default is 0000).
To remove this barring type:
#35*xxxx#
VOICE MAIL
To access somebody elses voice mail simply phone them up and as soon as you hear the voice mail follow these instructions
1.) T-Mobile press # then type this pin 1210
2.) 02 press * then type this pin 8705
3.) Vodafone press * then type this pin 3333
FREE SMS TIP
1st way:
1.) Turn our phone off.
2.) Turn it on and enter your pin.
3.) Enter *#746025625#
4.) Now SIM CLOCK STOP ALLOWED will be displayed.
Now you can send SMS for free. If you turn your phone off and later on you have to re-enter this code. In some Networks
it doesnt work.
OUTGOING CALL BARRING
Dial *33*1234*# and press OK. To deactivate it, dial #33#1234*#.
INCOMING CALL BARRING
Dial *35*1234*#. To deactivate it dial #35#1234*#.
